As a parent of 2 its hard for me not to compare my kids. Whenever Abby does something new I check Brayden's baby book to see when he did it.
Brayden is a big kid. The things he did first were standing and walking. Abby rolled over first and crawled first. Brayden enjoys sports, blocks, and books. Abby likes pictures, cars and phones. Brayden likes doing things by himself. Abby wants people around her.
As she gets older we are finding that Abby is going to be our troublemaker. She intentionally does things she knows she shouldn't. You can see the thought process. Her biggest thing is playing with the blinds. She will crawl over to them, look at them, look at us, look at the blinds, smile at us and proceeds to hit them while laughing. She also enjoys bothering her older brother. She destroys almost everything he makes. She will also try to steal his food while at the table. He likes sitting at the kitchen table to do his blocks so the baby can't get them. She decides to poke at him from under the table. He gets mad and kicks her. This is hard for me to punish. Had Abby not been bothering him, he would not have kicked her.
Brayden still enjoys having her around sometimes. He must know where she is at every minute. He gives her toys, towels, and the occasional kiss.
Abby is any day away from walking. I wonder what new sibling adventures will happen when that happens.
