Adventures in Potty Training

No one ever said potty training was easy. And boy were they right. Brayden hates wearing a diaper and repeatedly takes it off. When we first bought his potty, he would sit on it every time we went to the restroom. Now its every once in a while.

We got him the video and the book Elmo's Potty Time. When we first got the movie, he enjoyed it because it had Elmo in it. Now he is starting to understand what they are talking about.

Today Brayden walked up to me with poop in his hand and told me he had poop. He then ran into the bathroom, put it in the potty, and flushed as he said "bye bye poop." He then got his step stool, went to the sink and told me he needed to wash his hands.

I was so proud. He knew the steps to going to the potty. Now I am looking forward to the day when he tells me before he poops.
